Welcome to Smart Secures. By accessing our website smartsecures.co.in or engaging our CCTV installation services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

1. About Us

Smart Secures is a professional CCTV installation company based in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. We provide security camera installation, DVR/NVR setup, mobile monitoring configuration, and related services for residential and commercial properties across Hyderabad.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using this website, submitting an enquiry form, calling us, or engaging our services, you confirm that:

• You are at least 18 years of age
• You have the legal authority to enter into a service agreement
• You agree to these Terms and Conditions in full

If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or services.

3. Services Offered

Smart Secures provides the following services:

• CCTV camera supply and installation (residential, commercial, industrial)
• DVR / NVR setup and configuration
• Mobile app remote viewing setup
• Free site survey and security assessment
• Structured cabling and clean wiring
• Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC)
• Camera upgrades and system expansions

All services are subject to availability, site assessment, and mutual agreement on scope and pricing.

4. Quotations & Pricing

• All quotations are provided free of charge following a site survey.
• Published package prices (₹12,999, ₹19,999, ₹31,999, etc.) are indicative and subject to site-specific requirements.
• Final pricing is confirmed only after the free site visit and written quote.
• Prices are inclusive of GST unless stated otherwise.
• Quotations are valid for 15 days from the date of issue.

5. Payment Terms

Full payment is due upon completion of installation unless a prior written arrangement has been made.

6. Warranty Policy

Smart Secures provides the following warranty on all installations:

• Products (cameras, DVR/NVR, accessories): 2-year manufacturer warranty on all branded equipment (CP Plus, Prama, Securus)
• Labour & Workmanship: 1-year warranty on installation work
• Warranty claims require the original GST invoice and must be raised by contacting us on +91 93461 33102

7. Site Visit & Installation

• Free site visits are conducted by our trained engineers at a mutually agreed time.
• The customer must ensure clear and safe access to all installation areas.
• Any pre-existing electrical or structural issues that affect installation are the customer's responsibility.
• Same-day installation is subject to availability and site readiness. We will confirm this at the time of booking.
• Installation timelines may vary for large commercial or industrial projects.

8. Cancellations & Refunds

• Before installation: Full advance refund if cancellation is made at least 24 hours before the scheduled site visit.
• After site visit but before installation: Site visit is free — no charges apply if you decide not to proceed.
• After installation begins: No refund on labour charges. Material costs may be refunded for unused components at our discretion.
• Defective products: Replaced under warranty at no additional cost.

Refund requests must be submitted in writing via email to info@smartsecures.com or WhatsApp within 7 days of the installation date.

9. Customer Responsibilities

As a customer, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information about your property and installation requirements
• Ensure that the installation location is legally owned or leased by you, or that you have obtained permission from the property owner
• Not use CCTV cameras to surveil public areas, neighbours' properties, or any area without legal authorisation
• Comply with all applicable laws regarding CCTV usage, including displaying appropriate notices where required
• Ensure someone is present at the premises during the installation visit

10. Legal Use of CCTV

You are solely responsible for the legal and ethical use of any CCTV system installed by Smart Secures. This includes:

• Complying with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and any applicable privacy laws in India
• Displaying CCTV notices in commercial premises as required
• Not using footage for illegal purposes, harassment, or invasion of privacy
• Securing stored footage from unauthorised access

Smart Secures is not liable for any misuse of CCTV systems by the customer after installation is complete.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, logos, icons, and design — is the property of Smart Secures and is protected under applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from this website without prior written permission.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Smart Secures shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our services
• Loss or theft that occurs despite CCTV installation
• System downtime due to power failures, internet outages, or hardware faults beyond the warranty period
• Data loss from DVR/NVR storage due to hardware failure or power surge

Our total liability in any case shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer for the specific service in question.

13. Amendments to Terms

Smart Secures reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. The updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Hyderabad, Telangana.

15. Grievance Redressal

If you have any complaints or concerns about our services, please contact our customer support within 30 days of the issue. We are committed to resolving all grievances promptly and fairly.
